Understanding the mechanical behavior of materials in working conditions is a current problem transport industries. In this article, we demonstrate why temperature and strain-rate are first-order parameters when studying polymeric cellular with glass transition T $$_g$$ temperatures. Compressive tests quasi-static until 0.5 hencky strain were conducted at several temperatures on agglomerated cork. then conduted along large range rates, from $$4.2~10^{-5}~s^{-1}$$ to $$250~s^{-1}$$ room (24 °C). Both influence strongly overall an opposite effect because nature constitutive materials.
